Position overview :
The Machine Operator will meet hourly production rates while operating and stocking machines in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, and productivity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Meet company hourly production rates.
- Meet company expectations for product of acceptable quality.
- Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
- Bring problems to the attention of management.
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements :
Must be able to listen and communicate effectively.Must be able to read and count accurately, do simple math, and write legibly.Must be able to follow direction.Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.Physical Requirements :
The ability to tolerate required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as work gloves, safety glasses, ear protection, and dust masks on a continuous basis.Must be able to stand for long periods of time.Physical stamina to be able to endure a good deal of walking, bending, and lifting.Must be able to use job related equipment.Must be able to reach for and move product weighing up to 50 pounds, occasionally.Must be able to reach for and move product weighing up to 35 pounds, frequently.Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and / or quantitative productivity standards.Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards.Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment.About Lifetime Brands
