Sales Merchandiser (West Area)

Responsible for providing technical and professional expertise related to retail independent store merchandising, including implementing merchandising plans, self-labeling shelves, merchandise updating, new customer set up, implementation of store layout design, store reorganization, merchandise pricing, and maintaining display.

• Builds and sustains relationships founded on trust with internal and external customers and ensures customer satisfaction and loyalty
• Effectively collaborates with the customer, and internal constituents to influence support for mutually beneficial outcomes and achieve consensus
• Responsible for ensuring optimal service levels
• Solve problems at the store level to maintain the standards established in the sales agreement
• Execute and oversee special promotional campaigns created to boost sales volume
• Monitor sales volume, inspect inventory levels, and maintaining in-store promotional materials
• High School Degree is Required
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience (Preferred)
• Ability to travel Southwest territory of the island. Position will cover territory from Isabella to Lajas
• Residence within or in close proximity to the assigned territory is required for for this role
• Puerto Rico Active driver's license is required
• Ability to travel & good driving record
• Experience in Healthcare Industry is highly preferred
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred
• Must lift up to 75 pounds when necessary
• Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks
• Readily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area
• Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
• Works on routine assignments that require some problem resolution
• Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and / or scientific methods
• Adheres to all quality guidelines
• Works under moderate degree of supervision
• Work typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor
• Refers complex unusual problems to supervisor
