Overview We are looking for an Electronics Technician to join our team of industry-leading experts at the Humacao, Puerto Rico Plant. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will serve as a technical mentor for the Quality team. Your responsibilities will include conducting root cause analysis of manufacturing defects, performing data analysis, identifying improvement opportunities using quality data, maintaining the quality data systems (QIS), attending quality meetings, presenting analyses and action plans to diverse audiences, and executing special projects as assigned. Responsibilities As a uniquely qualified candidate, your main responsibilities will be : Perform analysis of failures; determine root causes and possible effects Troubleshoot on Lutron products Have daily contact with product engineering regarding product performance Have daily contact with process engineer to understand equipment performance, and process configurations Provide direction to quality auditors. Guide Quality auditors on technical questions Have daily interaction with production team (leaders, supervisors, operators) Other tasks assigned by the Manager. Ensure safety policies are being followed. Stay aligned to Lutron’s culture and values Be passionate Be flexible and adaptable to changing markets Be an innovative thinker Be customer focused Be ethical Qualifications Education and Experience Requirements : Associate degree in Electronics Technology, Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology, or equivalent with a minimum 3.0 GPA Minimum 2 years of experience in an electronics manufacturing plant. Demonstrable knowledge and experience in failure analysis. Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, troubleshooting issues, and proposing solutions. Proven ability to maintain organization and neatness in daily tasks. Proficiency in written and verbal English (B2 level or higher) and Spanish. Required Skills : Ability to work in a self-managed team environment. Flexibility to work different schedules. Strong communication skills. Excellent analytical abilities. Hands-on approach with strong organizational and follow-through skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Effective multitasking with a customer-focused urgency. Proficient in personal computer skills (email, record keeping, databases, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics - Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
