Title : Senior Program Manager, Women in Philanthropy and Tiffany Circle

Location : Anywhere in the US

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW :

The Fundraising Programs and Segment Strategy unit is the central office through which high-quality, consistent fundraising programs and platforms are created that reflect the organization’s fundable strategic opportunities. It is also the primary office through which individual, corporate, and foundation donor strategies are developed to maximize fundraising locally, regionally, nationally, and globally. This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.

To support individual fundraising and deliver value to fundraising relationship managers, the Senior Program Manager for Women in Philanthropy and Tiffany Circle will co-lead the development, planning, and implementation of fundraising programs focused on women’s giving and the Tiffany Circle. The Senior Program Manager will serve as an organizational expert on individual fundraising and drive toward the national individual fundraising target. S / he will work closely with key volunteer donors, staff leaders, and fundraising teams across the country to support their fundraising efforts, providing resources, tools, and best practices, as well as monitoring progress towards goals. Experience in individual fundraising is necessary. Experience with Loyalty Circles, donor-advised funds, women’s philanthropy, and fundraising program design and management preferred.

WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD :

  • Co-Lead for Tiffany Circle program and strategic plan development in collaboration with lead volunteers and the Director.
  • Lead the successful development, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of a Tiffany Circle regional growth strategy.
  • Coordinate the development and dissemination of tools and strategies to division and regional staff to drive consistency and clarity.
  • Develop, implement, and measure national impact and engagement strategies that steward and engage Tiffany Circle members and lead to retention and higher giving levels.
  • Serve as an organizational subject matter expert in individual giving and women’s philanthropy.
  • Deliver in-person and virtual training.
  • Work closely with fundraisers and internal program owners to maximize fundraising opportunities.
  • Create and maintain fundraiser-facing and donor-facing guidance and communication for assigned program areas, posted to One Source.
  • Collect and analyze data, identify areas of need and / or improvement, and develop recommendations for program improvement. Develop reports for management review.
  • Work in partnership with broader team to support planning and execution of special events like Tiffany Circle national summits
  • Work in conjunction with internal departments and external stakeholders, including work with donors and leadership volunteers.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED :

Education : Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

Experience : Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.

Skills & Abilities : Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of program or service. Demonstrated ability in creating presentations and developing training modules. Excellent oral and communication skills, including training and presentations. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Develop project plans, budgets, and strategies to achieve organizational goals. Demonstrated leadership skills, tact and diplomacy and ability to build consensus. Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple perspectives to achieve program goals. Demonstrate analytical and decision-making skills to develop creative processes for continuous program or service improvements. Intermediate level proficiency with MS Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Ability to work on a team.

Travel : Travel may be required.

Physical Requirements : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The work environment will consist of moderate noise ( business office with computers, phones and printers, light traffic). The employee must have the ability to work in a small cubicle and have the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

SALARY INFORMATION : The salary range for this position is $91,000 – 105,000 Note that the American Red Cross sets salary ranges aligned to a specific geographic location in which the work is performed. The stated salary range in this posting is an average. The specific salary information will be shared at the time of phone screening based upon your location and qualifications.
