The Opportunity

Specialist individual contributor that works under limited supervision.

  • Applies subject matter knowledge.
  • Requires capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills / knowledge.
  • Responsible for maintenance activities relating to equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs.

This position works out of our Arecibo location in the CRM Division. As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats.

This is an exempt role .

What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for planning plant, office and production equipment layouts for economy of operation and maximum utilization of facilities and equipment.
  • Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs.
  • Develops criteria and performance specifications for facilities and equipment required to meet unique operating requirements and building and safety codes.

    • Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience.
  • Basic knowledge of applicable US non-US applicable regulations.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees.
  • Knowledge of common office applications : Word, PowerPoint, excel.
