Substation Designer

A company is looking for a Substation Designer to join their team remotely in the US. Key Responsibilities Prepare design drawings and technical documentation for high-voltage power delivery projects Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop substation layouts and ensure compliance with standards Maintain organized drawing sets and support junior drafters with best practices Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certificate in drafting preferred Three or more years of substation or electrical utility drafting / design experience Proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, or MicroStation required Experience with PLS-CADD, Revit, or other 3D design tools is a plus Knowledge of electrical equipment and utility substation standards preferred
