Job Overview
This role involves making collection calls to FirstBank customers with overdue mortgage payments. You will adhere to the Bank’s BSA, AML, and OFCA policies, following specific procedures and reporting any suspicious activity in line with Bank processes. Compliance with mandatory BSA, AML, and OFAC training is required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Conduct collection efforts via telephone using Lyrical and MSP systems, meeting daily call standards.
- Record the outcomes of collection efforts, including payment promises.
- Maintain quality standards and follow established protocols during calls.
- Advise customers on payment alternatives through the Loss Mitigation Program to avoid foreclosure.
- Refer accounts requiring mortgage intervention or internal verification for analysis using MSP.
- Handle and refer customer service requests.
- Support other departments when needed.
- Participate in special projects and collection campaigns.
- Process payments via the pay-by-phone application.
- Request updates and maintenance of delinquent loan information through CCW.
Minimum Requirements
Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.At least two years of experience in office work and customer service.Full bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.Experience in banking collections is preferred.Strong customer service skills, including managing difficult situations.Teamwork and organizational skills.Respectful and ethical conduct.Commitment to quality and accuracy.Proficiency in Word and Excel.EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
