Software Test Engineer-Virtual From Puerto Rico

Description : This position is with the Lockheed Martin Enterprise Operations Design, Release, and Test Systems (DR&TS) team. The DR&TS team develops software solutions that are used by our engineering design teams to simplify the design process. This position is for a Software Engineer to create and maintain Test Automations inclusive of Planning, Coordinating, Designing, Developing, Maintaining, and Executing automated tests. The selected candidate will adhere to following Test Automation best practices while developing Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Computer Aided Design (CAD) test automations.

This individual will work closely with the test automation lead and other SME's to deliver automated test scripts to customers. This position is accountable for developing automated tests that support multiple digital platforms, collecting test metrics and increasing test coverage using the automated systems ensuring that new or modified software functionality according to business requirements. This position will be expected to support off-hours deployments as required.

The successful candidate will be a member of a high-performing multi-site team and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must have demonstrated effective pro-active communication skills as the position will require frequent inter-organizational interactions.

Basic Qualifications :

• US Citizenship Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related STEM discipline
• 2+ years of experience with Python or similar scripting languages
• Technical capability to learn, design and develop automated tests for web-based, API and Windows based Applications using enterprise test automation tool (i.e., Tricentis Tosca)
• Ability to learn to use PLM Web & Desktop versions along with executing manual regression test to support quarterly releases
• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Effective communication skills (Verbal and Written)

Ability to Work Remotely : Full-time Remote Telework : The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office / job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate : The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $84,300 - $146,165. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Pay Rate : The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $73,400 - $129,260. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees : accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
