Join Collins Aerospace as a Senior Software Engineer , and work with the Software Technologies team within the Mission Systems C4I&A organization. We are looking for a strong, passionate problem-solver with an action-oriented, collaborative mindset who strives to exceed expectations.

In this role, you will be contributing to the engineering development and execution of critical and strategic programs that enable our C4I&A product lines. You will participate in software engineering activities that design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain software solutions for various communication systems products.

This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.

This role is categorized as hybrid , with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager.

What YOU will do :

• Software Development : Design, develop, and enhance software solutions for communication and cyber intelligence systems.
• Integration and Testing : Integrate and test software in an Agile development environment.
• Collaboration : Work directly with software engineers, project engineers, and supporting organizations to ensure successful software project execution.
• Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including peers across C4I&A Engineering, industry partners, and third-party vendors, to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Mentorship : Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Risk Management : Assist in managing project risks / issues and elevate them to upper management when appropriate.
• Compliance : Ensure compliance with Collins development processes and standard work requirements.
• Bids and Proposals : Participate in the development of engineering bids and proposals.
