Job Description :
- Responsible for performing laboratory analytical tests to the raw materials and finished products following the established parameters (Client policies, FDA, cGMP) and applicable regulations without impact to the manufacturing cycle or the laboratory workflow.
- Document the results of the tests and analysis performed accurately.
- Perform preventive maintenance and standardize the laboratory equipment.
- Participate in the implementation of special projects and test method transfers.
- Resolve typical technical problems with minimum intervention of the scientist or others.
- Perform changes to existence procedures or create new as required.
- Actively participate in training of new employees.
- Responsible for the coordination and distribution of tasks when required.
- Data verification.
Education / Experience Required :
Bachelor’s degree in science such as Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, etc.Minimum of two years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry or equivalent in an analytical laboratory.Knowledge and abilities in managing analytical instruments.Must have previous experience working with : FTIR ID testingBilingual preferredWhat type of environment is this person working in? Combination of both
Work Schedule (Define days,# of hours) / Is Overtime offered or required? Yes, when required
Monday-Friday : First (7 : 30 am -4 : 00 pm) or second shift (2 : 00 pm -10 : 30 pm)
What are the top 3-5 skills, experience or education required for this position :
1. Knowledge in FTIR
2. Knowledge of Wet Chemistry
3. Knowledge of Lab instruments such as HPLC and GC preferable
4. Experience in Gas and water sampling / testing
5. Knowledge of GMP
