Overview We are seeking a Production Scheduler to join our dynamic team of industry leading experts at our facility in Humacao, Puerto Rico. Under the direction of the Schedule lead, this position is responsible for the daily development, publish and adjustment of the detailed production plan for the production lines. The main function is to optimize the manufacturing sequence by minimizing downtime and maximizing resource utilization, in addition to achieving the ETS objective Responsibilities As a uniquely qualified candidate, your main responsibilities will be : Prepare the weekly and daily production schedule based on Production plan provided by Planning area, ensuring ETS is above goal. Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, engineering, purchasing and logistics areas to ensure the efficient flow of inputs and raw materials. Execute tracker of the production orders status, since the creation to TECO status, ensuring the proper : on time release to production floor, closing process from manufacturing, materials consumption, TECO. Monitor production progress in real time, identifying possible deviations and proposing effective solutions. Adjust the schedule according to changes in demand, unforeseen events on the line or technical problems. Analyze and report production-related performance indicators (KPIs), such as efficiency, downtime, and goal achievement. Release orders to production in SAP, follow up of orders in process all the way to the shipment to end customer. Implement continuous improvements in production scheduling and control processes. Keep well informed the scheduler lead on any potential problem to reach the ETS. Participate in coordination meetings with other departments to optimize the production plan. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required with a minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.0 0-3 years’ experience in a related field Fluent in written and verbal English and Spanish is a plus. Required Skills : Ability to work in a self-managed work team environment. Ability to work different work schedules. Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment to accomplish goals while multitasking Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
