Sr. Project Engineer

For Project Engineering services in the Capital area.  WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT :   The Technical Part : Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and a minimum of five (5) years of exposure in project engineering.  Bilingual, Spanish and English (good communications) Experience in : Proven track record of implementing new production lines or managing complex filling line automation projects.

All project phases from initiation to completion, providing leadership and coordination.

AS A PIECE OF FITS, YOU WILL : (The day-to-day on the job) Provide technical interpretation of design documents.

Execute work in accordance with quality standards and site requirements.

Perform assignments independently with minimal guidance as to the general results expected, often dealing with unusual or complex problems.

Provide direction and regular contact to consultants, vendors and contractors assigned to the project.

Ensure effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all parties.

Keep site management informed of all circumstances that could affect projects.

Prepare weekly project reports detailing project progress.

Review and compare discipline drawings for inconsistencies, omitted information and conflicts, etc.

Interface between craft and engineering to resolve drawing  issues.

Interact with disciplines : subcontracts, material management, project controls and automation tools.

Coordinate system completion and turnover, r equisition project materials, equipment and services and p repare quality control forms and coordinate inspections .
