A Brief Overview
The Analyst gathers and analyzes business data, conceptualizes and defines problems, and provides results and recommendations. The role involves performing financial analysis for all Auto Business Center products, including automobile, leasing, and marine loans.
What you’ll do
- Compute the monthly premium payment to automobile dealers for conventional and leasing products within the first 10 days of the month. Authorize payments and evaluate exceptions as needed, maintaining the "Charge Back" program.
- Monitor that dealer incentive amounts recorded in the Bank's subsidiary for consumer loans are accurate according to each loan's terms. Generate transactions to modify them if necessary to ensure correctness in the General Ledger.
- Maintain precise records in the Premium Manager application of incentive payments.
- Develop and update the MIS Auto Business Repository, selecting appropriate reports in suitable formats and presentations for management analysis.
- Manage custody of unused checks and produce dealer incentive checks as needed.
- Coordinate updates in the APPRO System for buy rate plans for all dealers.
- Stay updated on market strategies and interest rate programs issued by Auto Business Center for each dealer or relation.
- Prepare periodic financial reports such as Financial and Production Reports, Weekly Production Dashboards, and participate in the annual Budget process.
- Design and perform additional analyses requested by Management.
- Select appropriate analytical techniques to generate required information.
- Participate in special projects, including UIT and UAT for applications used by the department.
- Develop and execute special projects as requested by management.
- Ensure successful implementation of new strategies.
- Provide backup support for colleagues in case of leave or absence.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, majoring in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology is required. Candidates should have at least three years of experience in data gathering and financial analysis within auto finance or banking, with preferred experience in reporting using Excel, Access, OnBase, and / or Crystal Reports. A minimum of two years managing statistical programs and advanced database skills are required.
