Position Title : Account Manager – Retail Operations (South & West Puerto Rico)

Position Overview :

This position is responsible for managing a portfolio of retail service stations and fuel clients within the South and West regions of Puerto Rico. The Account Manager will oversee sales, client relationships, and operational activities to drive profitable growth in the fuel, gasoline, and lubricants industry. This role includes supporting marketing initiatives, ensuring service quality, and helping clients meet safety and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage and grow relationships with assigned retail and commercial clients.
  • Develop and execute sales plans to meet volume and revenue goals.
  • Support marketing programs and promotions at customer sites.
  • Oversee contract renewals and maintain updated agreements.
  • Coordinate maintenance needs and ensure operational standards are met.
  • Track receivables and assist in resolving payment issues.
  • Conduct regular site visits and follow up on customer needs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental policies.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Previous experience in sales or account management.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Fully bilingual (Spanish and English).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Must reside in the South or Southwest region of Puerto Rico.

    • Benefits :

  • Base Salary : $55,000k - $60,000k
  • Annual performance bonus up to 8.3% of base salary (up to $4,980).
  • 401K Retirement Plan : 50% match up to 6%.
  • Medical insurance : 90% company-paid.
  • Life insurance : 100% company-paid.
  • Christmas Bonus : $1,200 according to labor regulations.
  • Leave : 15 vacation days, 15 sick days, and 1 birthday day off.
  • Company car provided for business use and gasoline expenses.

    • Note : This position does not commission.
