Descripción del trabajoRepresent one of the largest technology brands in the world Competitive Hourly pay between $15.25 - $16.25 Unique work environment and rewarding service to military members Paid online training to hone your skills and prepare you for program success This position is eligible for a paid time off accrual plan Build strong relationships and rapport with Base Exchange customers and personnel Identify customers' needs and recommend appropriate Sony products and accessories Proactively engage customers through the sales process, from initial greeting to closing the sale Provide trainings to Base Exchange staff on the various Sony products, as requested Ensure that products are properly merchandised, displayed, and functional Complete same-day online reports to document visits, including providing feedback, observations, and submitting customer and store photos Maintain business communication with Area Manager via occasional phone calls, web meetings, and / or emails Security clearance to gain base access is part of the process upon an offer of employment Previous sales, retail, and / or relevant customer service experience preferred Demonstrated knowledge and enthusiasm for consumer home electronics Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship building skills Access to reliable transportation to commute to local Military Base Access to internet and smart device for reporting and training Available to work required shifts Physically able to stand for long periods of time, bend, stoop, climb ladders. You would also need to be able to lift up to 50 lbs on your own and on occasion heavier TV's with assisted team lifting

We are seeking a highly engaging, tech-savvy individual to join our sales team on a part-time basis who will thrive on showcasing the latest innovations in consumer electronics. This dedicated specialist will represent our multinational client, Sony®, and their premier line of televisions, home theater, digital imaging, and home audio equipment.
Our Sony Home Electronics Sales Advisor plays a key role in promoting the Sony brand by understanding the needs of customers, answering their questions, comparing various product specs & features, and offering personalized recommendations for solution-based purchases. Last but not least, this role takes place in the local Military Base Exchange. Our Sony Advisor will take initiative to provide a world-class customer service experience for our military service members, veterans, and their families.
It’s our goal and commitment to help make consumer technology purchases easier, more personalized, and more informative for the customer while also boosting brand awareness during peak selling hours.
