Job Summary

The Senior Business System Analyst has a significant impact on achievement of operational goals by ensuring that any new software integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications. With minimal supervision, the incumbent will work with stakeholders and interpret business needs and issues, effectively translating them to actionable requirements. This individual will apply manufacturing and business process expertise with proven analytical and problem-solving skills to maximize the benefit of IT investments and initiatives. Position can be based in Victor, Juana Diaz or Hamble.

  • Facilitate open dialogue with local, regional, and global groups including interdepartmental stakeholders, managers, and subject matter experts. Partner with the business to investigate and accurately document business requirements (end-to-end processes flows, business scenarios, Work Instructions, and SOPs).
  • Question conventional methods to uncover the underlying needs of the business. Employ innovative questioning techniques to challenge existing assumptions, ensuring our systems and processes are continually optimized for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Analyze processes and systems for automation opportunities; translate business requirements into forward thinking, future-proof solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure seamless communication and alignment on project goals. Partner with technical team members to develop solutions and document high-level and detailed design proposals including user-interface and workflow blueprints.
  • Cultivate trust with internal customers by actively showcasing proposed solutions and incorporating feedback into subsequent reviews.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to establish standard protocols and templates including system configuration, user-interface design, validation processes, production migration, and reports.
  • Lead testing initiatives and implementation activities including risk identification and mitigation. Create and maintain project documentation such as business process documents, functional specifications, test plans, and validation reports.
  • Lead small to moderate sized projects as requested, including continuous improvement initiatives. Work directly with business unit leaders, senior leadership, and cross-functional / site teams to establish project timelines and expectations; provide project updates and manage applicable change orders through to completion.
  • Generate training material and provide training to employees of varying skillsets.
  • Lead fact-finding and continuous improvement initiatives. Provide insights on the root cause of problems and propose solutions that reduce risk and improve processes and the end-user experience.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve simple to complex system problems in creative ways.
  • Ability to effectively translate between functional and technical teams.
  • Ability to identify risk and mitigation plans related to both processes and systems.
  • Ability to draft succinct and clear end-user and technical documentation.
  • Adept at creating training materials and providing training to employees of varying skill levels.
  • Experience implementing manufacturing execution systems
  • Business systems analysis experience in the medical device or other regulated industry.
  • Experience working with and integrating global ERP and MES systems.
  • Experience integrating MES with manufacturing lines and measuring equipment.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and eliminating waste from processes.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management frameworks.
  • Ability to create process flowcharts and swim lane diagrams.
  • Experienced in applying lean principles to identify and eliminate waste within processes.
  • Comfortable with root cause analysis techniques.
  • Ability to produce exceptional quality output.
  • Work Environment :

  • Normal office environment.
  • Light physical effort necessary to perform the job.
  • Extended periods of sitting and using a computer.
  • Global travel ranging from 25-50%
  • Occasional after hour support required
  • Experience :

  • 5 to 8 years’ experience in manufacturing process and supporting systems.
  • Commensurate Technical experience to perform the job duties.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office include Microsoft Project
  • Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or computer science; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    For . locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $107,702.00 and $143,603.00 per year and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
