Safeguarding the financial health of our clients and Abarca is of the upmost importance! Our Finance team ensures that our financial systems are managed and running smoothly. How to do they get that done? Through handling everything from establishing policies to certifying transactions, maintaining procedures to bookkeeping, cashflow management and maintain good financial planning along with rebates management. Keeping an eye on assets, sales, budgets, and expenses while maintaining high collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is key to this team. Their prowess in number-matching, pattern finding, and accounting credibility is unmatched!
As an awesome Data Modeler, you will play a key role across the full project lifecycle for rebates projects, from analyzing business requirements to developing, testing, deploying, and supporting users on solutions that meet those requirements. That’s not all! Other duties will include the analysis of data to provide insight and recommendations for business decisions and the performance of data validation to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of analytic models.
What you’ll do :

- Translate business requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical data models including support in designing and implementing scalable data models.
- Perform root-cause analysis of issues identified in reports by developing an understanding of overall business.
- Effectively communicate results to clients and staff through well-organized presentations, both oral and written, that reflect analytic methods used and key decision points with sufficient detail to support comprehension of the analysis.
- Reporting strategy development as well as query testing and development.
- Collaborate closely with all facets of the project’s stakeholders (business analysts, business subject matter experts, and all levels of clients) in the development of key decision support initiatives.
- Develop proper processes for data collection, data standardization and analytics; initiate data management and identify proper use of analytics tools (You would do this even if we didn’t pay you.)
- Combine business knowledge and technical expertise to assist internal customers when evaluating or addressing business issues through use of data.
- Participate in the planning, design, and creation of both standard and ad-hoc reports, Dashboards and Scorecards; when necessary, also lead conversations as requested.
- Assure the integrity of project data, including data extraction, storage, manipulation, processing, and analysis as well as verify the completeness, timeliness, and accuracy of data warehouse information.
- Work with business owners and technical resources to identify and address data quality issues when they arise.
- Provide production support to end-users in a timely fashion.
