Descripción del trabajo7+ years in Project Management 5+ years in medical device or pharmaceutical industry in Engineering PMP or graduate studies in PM is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent influencing and effective persuasion skills Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to coach and mentor other engineers on above skills Ability to focus on the critical technical project management elements for each project managed Ability to tailor both traditional and agile tools techniques and methods for each project Ability to prioritize diligently Ability to manage and integrate each of the project management knowledge areas Ability to identify the right balance between being a manager and a leader depending on the situation Ability to develop an appropriate project delivery strategy Ability to determine which business factors should be considered for the project and how these factors could affect the project, while understanding the interrelationship between the project and the organization Fully Bilingual (English and Spanish) Computer literate : Knowledge on MS Project, MS Visio, MS Excel, MS Power Point, and MS Word Highly motivated, self-starter, and responsible person
Leads the execution of High Complexity Projects through its life cycle. High Complexity Projects include, but are not limited to : Equipment and / or Process Development, Integration of one or several major equipment (automation / high volume type) within an existing product line, and Line transfers.
- Provides the project team with leadership, planning, and coordination for all project activities
- Defines, manages, and controls the project’s scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risks
- Manages project procurements
- Continuously and appropriately communicates between Sr. Management, project sponsor, team members, and other stakeholders to balance stakeholders’ goals, and reach alignment on project decisions
- Partners with Quality to develop a thorough and effective Quality Plan
- Executes validation activities such as : Protocols, Execution, Deviations, and Reports
- Motivates the team toward the successful completion of the project’s objectives
- Balances the competing constraints on the project
- Develops relationships that assist the team in achieving the goals and objectives of the project
- Maintains a strong advocacy role within the organization; work with the project sponsor to address internal organizational factors that may impact the team, or the viability, or the quality of the project
- Assures compliance with laws and regulation
- Administrates payroll, as needed
