We are seeking an experienced Senior Programmer with expertise in Java and RPG development on an IBM iSeries platform. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in ERP systems, DB2 database management, and a proven track record of delivering software solutions. Knowledge of Power BI is a plus, and a degree in Computer Science is required.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain applications in Java and RPG within the IBM iSeries environment.
Manage and optimize DB2 databases, ensuring high performance and data integrity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions with our ERP systems.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in existing systems.
Participate in software development lifecycle activities such as requirements analysis, testing, and deployment.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and optimization of our technology stack.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

At least 7 years of hands-on experience in Java and RPG programming on IBM iSeries.

Strong knowledge of ERP systems.

Expertise in DB2 database management and optimization.

Desirable : Familiarity with Power BI or other business intelligence tools.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
