About the Job :
GLJ is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Electrical Laborer to join our team in Perry, MO . You will be assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. This is a hands-on role that involves using various hand and power tools, as well as performing semi-skilled labor under the supervision of an experienced team. If you’re motivated, reliable, and have an interest in the electrical field, we want you!
What You’ll Do :
- Measure, cut, and bend PVC conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools
- Examine electrical equipment for loose connections or broken insulation and tighten connections with hand tools
- Drill holes and pull or push wiring through openings using hand and power tools
- Clean and maintain work areas, keeping tools, materials, and equipment organized
- Load and unload tools, materials, equipment, and supplies at the work site
- Thread conduit ends, connect couplings, and fabricate and secure conduit support brackets
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components
- Install wire and cable through ducts or conduits
- Perform physical tasks like lifting, climbing, balancing, and handling materials as required
