What You Will Do :
As a Senior Consultant on the South Market Team in Puerto Rico, you will play a key role in the decarbonization of energy provider clients. In your project teams, you will collaborate with our team of energy experts to support critical and complex energy transition projects. You will be responsible for the development of project results and client management. You will own the delivery of project workstreams and interact regularly with the client to ensure engagement success. This includes supporting / leading day-to-day internal team meetings and coordinating / facilitating meetings with clients and their stakeholders. You will be expected to prepare and communicate well-organized, effective reports and presentations to clients.

Key responsibilities include :
Supporting the team in creative problem-solving to drive outcomes for clientsProvide detailed fact findings, research, and analysis on energy-related activities (particularly energy efficiency, grid modernization, renewable energy, customer programs, new business models, and sustainability)Performing and reviewing technology assessments statistical analyses, and economic analyses leveraging spreadsheetsSupport workshops and working sessions between client departments and organizations to lead discussions, form relationships and facilitate consensus-buildingCommunicating solutions and new strategies to clients through reports and presentationsOrganizing and preparing reports, presentations, and other documents for client deliverablesWorking effectively with colleagues and client staff as part of a project team, delegating work and managing colleagues as needed; work independently as neededWhat You Will Need :
Due to nature of client engagements, must either be a US Citizen or US Permanent ResidentBachelor’s in an engineering, business, economics, environmental, science or related discipline and 3+ years of relevant energy industry or energy consulting experience (excluding internships / coops, or fellowships); Or M aster’s degree in an engineering, business, economics, environmental, science or related discipline and 1+ years of relevant industry or consulting experience (excluding internships / coops, or fellowships)Currently reside in Puerto Rico or ability to relocate at own expenseDemonstrated experience leading small teams, including advanced project management skillsBilingual fluency in English and SpanishClient service orientationExperienced in developing and delivering presentations to executive audiencesOutstanding analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency with data analyticsStrong interest in business strategy, energy efficiency, and sustainabilityAn inquisitive nature and desire for continuous improvementTireless attention to detail in all prior experience (academic and professional)Superior interpersonal skillsAbility to collaborate as a part of team, as well as to work independentlyAbility to manage several tasks simultaneously, prioritize and plan work activities while meeting respective deadlinesHighly developed organizational and management skillsAbility to travel as neededAbility to work onsite in Guidehouse Office Puerto Rico or Client Office location in Puerto RicoThe salary range for this role may vary based on relevant degree, work experience and physical location at time of hireLevel of hire will be determined through Guidehouse interviewing processWhat Would Be Nice To Have :
