We are looking for a highly qualified Professional Engineer who is an active member of the Colegio de Ingenieros y Agrimensores de Puerto Rico (CIAPR) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing various engineering projects, ensuring they meet all technical specifications and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong technical skills, project management experience, and a commitment to professional excellence. The idea candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering or related field, excellent problem-solving skills and live in Puerto Rico or the Virgin Islands territories.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and oversee civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, water supply systems, and dredging operations.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and environmental impact assessments.
• Prepare detailed engineering plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop innovative design solutions.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with engineering standards, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and project updates to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and staff.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
