This role is part of the Intake Operations team, covering areas like concurrent intake, appeals intake, and support services. As a Case Coordinator, you will be trained across these areas, stay current on process changes, and assist as needed. Your responsibilities include gathering data from client hospitals, managing documents in our database, and ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.

Work Schedule : Full-time (40 hours / week), with weekend and holiday shifts. Flexibility for overtime and various 8-hour shifts within 6 : 00 am - 12 : 00 am AST is required.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Data entry into clinical databases for intake and appeals
  • Accessing client clinical systems for data retrieval and entry
  • Document management for retrospective appeals
  • Providing case updates via telephone to clients and payors
  • Maintaining document integrity and organization
  • Communicating with teams, vendors, and support staff
  • Monitoring workflow and adapting to priorities
  • Performing additional duties as assigned

English proficiency assessment required post-application.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or higher
  • At least 1 year of experience in medical record management or healthcare information
  • Proficiency with office systems (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Availability for full-time work with flexible shifts
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of confidentiality and HIPAA
  • Knowledge of insurance appeal processes
  • Computer and data management skills
