Position Summary

Operating within an assigned geographic market , the Sales Representative will identify potential customers, generate leads, and sell profitable commercial and industrial services . You will position our maintenance, repair, and installation services for boilers , emergency generators , and photovoltaic systems to key decision-makers. Through proactive prospecting , sales presentations , and relationship-building , you'll help ASI continue its legacy of excellence and innovation .

Key Responsibilities

Prospecting & Lead Generation

Identify viable leads and manage prospects to meet or exceed monthly revenue targets.

  • Conduct cold calls and warm calls to establish appointments with facility, operations, and maintenance decision-makers.

Sales Presentations & Negotiations

Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, emphasizing ROI and service benefits.

  • Follow up with key decision-makers to close deals and secure service agreements .
  • Account Management & Customer Relationships

    Foster strong, professional relationships with new clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention .

  • Stay informed of market behavior and competitive trends to anticipate clients' evolving needs.
  • CRM & Administrative Duties

    Use the company's CRM system daily to log sales activities, track leads, and maintain detailed customer profiles.

  • Complete and submit all required Customer Service Agreements , reports , and paperwork promptly and accurately.
  • Market Awareness & Community Engagement

    Increase ASI's visibility by attending trade shows , local events, and chamber of commerce functions.

  • Represent the company at community events and use networking opportunities to generate new business .
  • Other Duties

    Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned to support business objectives.

    Qualifications

    Education & Experience

    High school diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in business or related field preferred .

  • Minimum 2 years in a customer-facing role, with a proven ability to identify and address client needs.
  • Three or more years of direct selling experience, ideally in generator, PV system, service, or maintenance agreements .
  • Licensing & Skills

    Valid PR driver's license with willingness to travel.

  • Knowledge of boilers, emergency generators , or PV systems is highly beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills, with strong active listening capabilities.

    Self-motivated, competitive , and driven to exceed sales targets .

  • High level of professionalism , confidentiality , and customer focus .
  • Persuasive and engaging approach, maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic .
  • Work Environment

  • Primarily indoor and outdoor settings, with frequent visits to client facilities or construction sites .
  • Travel is required for this position, including to trade shows and networking events.
  • Physical Demands

  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
  • Occasional lifting or carrying of up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent bending, climbing, and balancing as needed.
  • Possible exposure to varying humidity and temperature conditions.

  • Salary Range : competitive base + Commission / Bonus Opportunities
