Payment Recovery Specialist

A company is looking for a Payment Recovery Specialist, Out of State Billing, Remote. Key Responsibilities Resolve billed claims and referred denials while managing assigned work queues Document claim status activity and communicate payer trends to the Team Leader Follow up on accounts in a timely manner and work collaboratively within assigned groups Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent 1-2 years of collection or follow-up experience is strongly recommended Knowledge of and experience with Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and Remittance Advise (RA) Strong knowledge of insurance types and payer portal navigation Some knowledge of hospital patient billing systems and claims processing procedures
