Key Responsibilities :
Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards to ensure product consistency and compliance with specifications.
Conduct regular inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards.Team Supervision :Supervise and lead a team of quality control inspectors and technicians, providing training and guidance on quality standards and procedures.
Schedule and manage daily quality control activities, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient workflow.Process Improvement :Analyze quality data and performance metrics to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
Develop and execute corrective and preventive actions to address quality concerns and enhance manufacturing processes.Documentation and Reporting :Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and quality audits.
Prepare and present regular quality reports to management, highlighting key findings, issues, and recommendations.Compliance and Standards :Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies related to quality and safety.
Conduct internal audits and participate in external audits as required to maintain certification and compliance.Customer Interaction :Address and resolve customer complaints and quality issues, working closely with the customer service and sales teams.
Collaborate with customers to understand their quality requirements and ensure their satisfaction with the products.Equipment and Materials :Ensure that testing equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and functioning correctly.
Work with suppliers to evaluate and ensure the quality of raw materials used in production.Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field; or equivalent experience.Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.Certifications : Relevant quality certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) are a plus.Weil Group is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
