Financial Aid Representative

PR - San Juan

Pay Rate : $ per hour

Job Description :

We are looking for a highly qualified candidate with experience in banking or cooperatives, and a strong educational background in Business Administration or Accounting, to join our team as a Financial Aid Representative. The successful candidate will assist students with financial aid processes and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist students in understanding and completing financial aid applications and documentation.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students and families, addressing their questions and concerns regarding financial aid.
  • Offer advice and guidance on financial aid options, budgeting, and managing educational expenses.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial aid forms and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Stay informed about and ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional financial aid regulations and policies.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on financial aid distributions and student accounts.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as admissions and finance, to coordinate efforts and ensure a seamless experience for students.
  • Conduct financial aid workshops and presentations to educate students and families about available resources and application processes.

    • Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree or Associate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in banking, cooperatives, or a related financial environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial aid processes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability to work in the office in the metro area 2 or 3 times per week the rest of the time remotely.
  • Bilingual (english, spanish).
