Job Summary :
Our Counter plays a key role in providing exceptional customer service by assisting guests with placing orders, handling transactions, and ensuring accurate and timely food preparation. As the face of our restaurant, you'll contribute to a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and help create a seamless experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
- Understands our culture and does whatever it takes to create a positive and memorable guest experience.
- Develops guest loyalty through memorable service that keeps them coming back.
- Answers the phones, greets guests for takeout, receives & reviews online orders.
- Makes food recommendations to guests and answers all menu and service-related questions.
- Follows company policy in handling guest allergies / intolerances, ensuring our guests receive "safe" meals.
- Properly enters all items served to guests at our Point of Sale (POS).
- Providing friendly and attentive service that makes guests feel well taken care of and builds their intent to return.
- Provides accurate checks to guests, accepts payments, and completes all appropriate transactions.
- Handles guests' complaints by listening to their concerns, always informing a manager, and resolving issues to ensure overall guest satisfaction.
- Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return to the restaurant again.
Hospitality to the Restaurant :
Inspects restrooms, dining room, and wait area, cleans as needed, and reports any unsafe conditions to maintain safety and sanitation standards.Assists in tasks to ensure a clean, sanitized, and safe restaurant.Hospitality to your Team :
Arrives to work on time as scheduled, well-groomed in the proper work attire, and ready to work.Clocks in and out as scheduled.Demonstrates a helpful, positive attitude to guests and team members.Completes all assigned tasks and duties assigned by managers / supervisors.Follow proper cash-out / check-out procedures before leaving at the end of a shift.Assists fellow team members as needed to ensure our guests receive the highest standard of food, beverage, and hospitality.Requirements & Prior Experience :
Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.Capable of prioritizing tasks effectively.Able to speak to the restaurant's story and mission statement.Passion for hospitality, providing exceptional service, and creating memorable dining experiences.Able to work rotating shifts including weekends (i.e. Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays and days off.Equal Opportunity Employer
