Job Overview :
We are looking for an Electronic Security Technician to join our team and play a key role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic security systems.
Responsibilities and Duties :
- Install, test, and configure electronic security systems, including alarm systems, CCTV cameras, access control systems, and related hardware / software.
- Set up video recording and processing equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on security systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning security systems promptly.
- Replace defective components and conduct system upgrades when necessary.
- Ensure that all installations and repairs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Follow safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
- Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and support staff to resolve complex issues.
Qualifications and Education Requirements :
Associate’s degree or technical certification in electronic security, electronics, or a related field is required.Proven experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic security systems.Experience with specific systems or brands (e.g., HikVision, Honeywell, Risco) is a plus.We are an equal opportunity employer (EOE / M / F / V / D).
