Responsibilities :

• Provide customer service to individuals at the shelter by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the shelter and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences observed during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with shelter staff, residents, and visitors to address questions or concerns related to security-related matters.
