The full-time remote Senior Engineering Manager will lead and develop a distributed engineering team across Europe, the US, and Canada, focusing on enhancing software security and quality through the CodeQL detection engine and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. Key Responsibilities Define and drive a technical roadmap aligned with product goals, prioritizing engineering efforts strategically Facilitate communication between teams, resolve dependencies, and ensure seamless integration across products and services Guide employee growth and development, manage performance, and maintain the technical expertise of the team Required Qualifications 6+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience in software development using languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python 1+ year of experience in people management or leading a technical team Experience in designing scalable, secure, and observable systems that meet business and technical requirements Strong understanding of software security practices and development methodologies Ability to work effectively in a distributed team across multiple time zones
