We have a national and international presence spanning coast to coast, including U.S. Naval Base Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and now, Puerto Rico. We offer management of projects throughout the United States, with our field operations' team members who work on location for each of our projects. We specialize in fast-track projects in new commercial construction with a primary focus in the Department of Defense market.

We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our Self-Perform team for construction projects located in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. This position is responsible for operating a 130-ton All Terrain Crane on an active construction site. Position may also include operating a 250-ton - 450-ton Crawler Crane. Position may also be responsible for operating several other types of power construction equipment including (but not limited to), fork lifts, tractors, or front-end loaders to excavate, move, and grade earth, erect structures, or pour concrete or other hard surface pavement, as well as repairing and maintaining all equipment as appropriate. More specific duties may be required depending on the scope of a project. This is all to be done using the appropriate equipment and implementing the required safety practices in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.

Prevailing Wages $18-25ph DOE. Full benefit plan offered, vacation and sick pay. 401K/Match.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• A high school diploma or GED is the preferred minimum formal education for this position.
• Three or more years (or equivalent) work experience as a crane operator in the construction industry required; government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred.
• Experience with Concrete Tilt wall erection preferred.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet, etc.) preferred. Training can be provided.
• CPR, First Aid Certification required; OSHA 30-hour Certification and EM-385 preferred; Training can be provided.
• Spanish-English bilingual skills desirable.
