A company is looking for a Patient Health Benefits Counselor. Key Responsibilities Determine patient qualification for financial assistance programs and payment arrangements based on confidential financial information Verify coverage and authorization for scheduled procedures using scheduling and registration information Act as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and community agencies to gather necessary information for authorization and benefits collection Required Qualifications, Training, and Education 6 months of healthcare experience Knowledge of ICD and CPT coding Medical terminology knowledge High School Diploma or GED required CPR Certification (as required by facility)
