  • Support the recruitment process by reviewing applications, conducting initial interviews, coordinating interviews, communicating with candidates, and collecting required employment documentation.
  • Distribute qualified applicants to hiring managers and coordinate recruitment efforts with external employment agencies and other sourcing partners.
  • Coordinate pre-employment requirements, including background checks, employment eligibility documentation, Form I-9 review, and E-Verify processing.
  • Support new-hire onboarding and orientation activities to promote an organized and positive employee experience.
  • Process employee transactions in HR information systems, including hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, leave records, organizational changes, and employee profile updates.
  • Assist employees and managers with access to HR platforms, systems, and self-service tools.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in accordance with company policies and applicable record-retention requirements.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc HR reports, data files, workforce metrics, and key performance indicator analyses.
  • Compile and validate employee information needed for payroll processing, including leave payments, final payments, incentives, bonuses, and other authorized compensation changes.
  • Support the administration of employee referral, recognition, and engagement programs.
  • Assist with employee communications and publish HR-related announcements through internal communication platforms.
  • Receive, document, and process employee leave requests, including FMLA, maternity, military, bereavement, and other applicable leaves.
  • Follow up with employees regarding missing leave documentation, required notices, deadlines, and return-to-work requirements.
  • Support occupational injury or workers' compensation-related processes in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Administer employee benefit transactions, including enrollments, terminations, coverage changes, and employee status updates.
  • Communicate employee eligibility and coverage changes to benefit providers or brokers, as applicable.
  • Assist with the monthly reconciliation of benefit invoices and research discrepancies as needed.
  • Explain Human Resources policies, procedures, benefits, employment practices, and applicable workplace requirements to employees and managers.
  • Receive and appropriately escalate employee relations concerns, workplace complaints, harassment allegations, and other sensitive matters to the designated Human Resources leader.
  • Gather, organize, and provide documentation related to employee relations, unemployment, legal, or compliance matters.
  • Prepare and submit required new-hire, unemployment, employment status, and other government-related documentation.
  • Prepare employee correspondence, including leave notices, requests for documentation, employment status communications, and job abandonment notifications.
  • Collaborate with other HR functions, department leaders, Finance, Legal, and external service providers to complete assigned processes and projects.
  • Protect the confidentiality of employee and organizational information at all times.
  • Perform other Human Resources duties and special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A combination of education, training, and relevant Human Resources experience equivalent to at least four (4) years.
  • Previous experience supporting multiple Human Resources functions in a generalist, coordinator, or administrative capacity.
  • Experience using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), applicant tracking systems, or talent management platforms.
  • Working knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, employee records, benefits, leaves, payroll support, and employment compliance.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete multiple assignments within established deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with sound judgment and discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with ADP or a comparable HRIS or payroll platform.
  • Experience supporting HR operations within a multisite or high-volume work environment.
  • Familiarity with Form I-9, E-Verify, FMLA, unemployment documentation, benefits administration, and applicable employment requirements.
  • Experience preparing HR reports, analyzing workforce metrics, and reconciling employee benefit information.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
