Pack Out Teller Services

As a Pack Out Teller of Cash Management Services, you work with your team to ensure the preparation of cash and coin orders and assist with the inventory management of our Loomis clients.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare various bill and coin change orders by denomination for each assigned client. Change orders can range from one pound to approximately 50 pounds in weight.
• Prepare Federal Reserve Bank (FRB) shipments and receive FRB deposits as requested by clients and as assigned by management. Pouches can weigh from one pound to approximately 45 pounds in weight.
• Add/Merge and Subtract/Extract from the physical funds of the client's inventory. Count, in a precise and efficient manner, those inventories and report totals to management or team member for inventory balance.
• Maintain FIFO (first in, first out) order in all client inventories.
• Maintain physical counts, records, FIFO, and compliance with policy and procedure for our emergency cash (E-Cash) inventories. Prepare emergency cash (E-Cash) requests for our Cash in Transit (CIT) team. Provide accurate and efficient counts of all E Cash inventories.
• Follow the specific process to prepare contaminated deposits for sending to the FRB, as directed by management.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in cash handling is preferred.
• Strong numerical aptitude and accuracy in processing financial transactions.

Essential duties and working conditions:

Full-time schedule consists of 40 hours per week performed in 8-hour shifts or split shifts.

Work is performed in a vault room or work area with little to no exposure to outside light.

Work is performed from a standing position throughout the shift and constantly lifting or pushing pouches with an average weight as noted above.

As part of the qualification process for the Pack Out Teller position in Cash Management Services, a human performance evaluation (HPE) is required. This evaluation requires successfully completing tests in the following areas:

• Lifting: Vertical lift of 2 pounds from 36 inches to 52 inches off the floor (15X)
• Vertical lift of 25 pounds from 8 inches to 33 inches off the floor (1X)
• Vertical lift of 18 pounds from 1 inch to 36 inches off the floor (5X)
• Vertical lift of 2 pounds from 7 inches to 62 inches off the floor (17X) Lift-Carry:
• Vertical lift of 30 pounds from 8 inches to 40 inches off the floor, and horizontal transfer of 10 feet (1X)
• Push-Pull: Horizontal transfer of 90 pounds of force in a sled (single arm, non-dominant), a distance of 1 foot (1X)
• Repetitive gripping: Squeeze a Jamar hand dynamometer requiring a force of up to 30 pounds / both right and left hands (17X)
