Accounting Specialist

Accounting SpecialistWe are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting Specialist to join our Finance & Accounting team. In this role, you will contribute to managing accounts receivable processes, supporting vendor invoice receipt and coding, maintaining monthly volume reports, and supporting the monthly accounting close.Prepare and issue accurate and timely customer invoicesManage accounts receivable processes, including monitoring aging and resolving discrepanciesProcess deposits and apply customer payments to the appropriate accountsReconcile monthly deposit transactions recorded in the BPPR accountPerform revenue reconciliations to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial dataSupport the monthly accounting close process, including account reconciliations and reportingAssist with financial data analysis, including data extraction, transformation, and reportingIdentify opportunities to improve processes and leverage automation or AI tools to enhance efficiencyCollaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Customer Service) to resolve billing and payment issuesManage invoice received from vendors, make tax withholding when applicable and code them appropriately according to budget cost structure and chart of accountsCreate new vendors as needed by other business unitsBachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable or similar accounting functionsStrong knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliation processesProficiency in accounting softwareExperience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or similar platforms)Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and transformation (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, data modeling)Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and data analysisStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyFully bilingual (English and Spanish)Experience in financial data analysis or business intelligence supportFamiliarity with automation tools and process improvement initiativesAbility to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environmentSGF Global is an integrated talent solutions provider, offering staffing, recruitment, Employer of Record (EOR), nearshore, and consulting services across a wide range of industries in 35 countries.
