Service Specialist

Florist PositionThis position is responsible for determining the needs of each customer in order to assist them with the purchase of merchandise. Additionally, it is responsible for processing and organizing orders made by customers through the internet or in person at the establishment. This position is also responsible for keeping the florist shop inventory updated and notifying their supervisor whenever there is a need to make new orders. In addition, this position is responsible for developing promotional content for the company and participating in it.FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESReasonable adjustments can be made to allow people with disabilities to perform the essential functions.1. Guides customers about the products and services offered.2. Works with customers to determine what type of floral arrangement they need.3. Answers customer calls and messages.4. Invoices and collects payment from customers for ordered products.5. Designs the delivery route based on customer orders.6. Records orders in the inventory and sales control system.7. Keeps the work area clean before, during, and at the end of their shift.8. Manages the inventory and ensures that what is physically available matches what is presented online as available; if inventory is needed, it immediately notifies the supervisor.9. Creates promotional content for social media.10. Participates on camera in the videos, photos, and audios that are published on the company's social media or for other advertising purposes.11. Wraps and dispatches customer orders.12. Occasionally makes floral arrangements with predetermined designs or with new designs.
