You'll perform detailed inspections of parts, assemblies, raw materials, tooling, and instruments throughout various stages of the manufacturing process. Using a range of inspection methods and tools, you'll validate that every component aligns with design data, engineering drawings, specifications, and contract requirements—helping maintain product integrity and customer trust.This position is based at our Santa Isabel, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.What You Will DoRead and interpret drawings, schematics, standards, technical data, and work instructionsUse inspection tools (micrometers, gauges, scales, calipers, etc.) to verify specificationsPerform daily inspections of materials and sub-assemblies and reject non-conforming productIdentify discrepancies between plans and work instructionsExamine materials and sub-assemblies daily and reject product using product procedures, specifications, and drawingPrepare and maintain Quality Notifications (QN), Rework Records, and non-conformity documentationMake decisions based on established criteria, including stopping processes when requiredConduct basic random audits of assembly processes, procedures, and productsManage special inspection processes and support final inspection activitiesWork closely with supervisors and engineering to report critical issues and support process improvementsRecommend enhancements to inspection plans and proceduresParticipate in RRCA activities at the Quality Clinic (CPS)Perform additional responsibilities in other work areas as neededAn essential function of this role is the ability to accurately see, read, and interpret information on screens and materials for extended periods.
