Material HandlerThe Material Handler plays a crucial role in the efficient management of raw materials and packaging materials within the warehouse. Their responsibilities range from receiving and storing to dispatching and returning these inputs, ensuring that quality, food safety, and health standards are met. This position is fundamental for maintaining warehouse organization and contributing to the optimal flow of production, ensuring that materials are available and in proper condition for use.Responsibilities:Perform the count and reconciliation of raw materials and packaging materials.Organize and prepare the area for the reception of materials.Register the physical entry and system entry of materials, ensuring the delivery of the required documentation.Verify the received merchandise and notify the supervisor in case of finding materials in poor condition.Execute the physical transfers of materials within the warehouse and perform the corresponding transactions.Dispatch materials to assigned areas and manage the return, including weighing and organizing the inputs.Ensure the cleanliness and good condition of the materials before dispatch, reporting any defects to the supervisor.Perform the re-palletization of materials when necessary.Verify daily the production plan to ensure the dispatch of the correct materials.Keep the production lines supplied with the required materials and frequently check inventory levels.Recondition defective materials as needed.Immediately notify the supervisor of any accidents or events that may pose a risk.Comply with the Integrated Management System requirements and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.Perform daily inspection and proper handling of forklifts in the materials area.Report to the supervisor any malfunction of the forklifts or incidents related to the merchandise.Carry out a weekly inventory count cycle.Requirements:Diploma of 4th year.Advanced knowledge in inventory management and physical inventory taking.4-5 years of experience in inventory management.3-5 years of experience operating forklifts.Forklift operator's license.Basic knowledge of Excel and use of radio frequency devices (Scanner).Minimum knowledge in Integrated Management Systems.High level of attention to detail and intermediate skills in computers and systems.Ability to work under pressure and multitask.Orientation towards achieving goals and objectives, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
