Sr. Systems Administrator

General Responsibilities

Administers monitoring tools to ensure the best performance and availability of servers, network devices and applications. This includes installation, configuration, tuning, troubleshooting and documentation. Participates in the release management process and ensure that the proper monitoring is implemented. Proactively implement new monitors that help to detect any degradation or interruption of the service. Monitors operating systems tool parameters in applications to determine adjustments to be made according to customer or organizational needs. Performs maintenance to the tools and make required upgrades when needed. Notify, document, and appropriately refer when a server or application is reporting an incident, making the changes necessary for optimal performance. Provides support according to operational needs, migrations, obsolescence, capacity management, critical incidents, and problem resolution.

Performs duties through methods and actions that are consistently ethical and in total compliance with the laws, applicable regulations, Code of Ethics, corporate policies and guidelines and rules of conduct. Completes corporate trainings and certifications intended for the detection and prevention of money laundering related activities and fraud, insider training and conflict of interest policies and procedures, as applicable.

Education and Experience Required

Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related fields, from an accredited institution is desired.
Around ten (10) years of experience working with Networking Infrastructure and/or Unix/Windows servers and IT systems infrastructure is required.
