Salary : 1st shift $13.50 hr

2nd shift 13.80 hr

3rd shift 14.00 hr

Requirements :

Technical or Associate Degree completed in Mechanic, Electricity, Instrumentation or related

At least 1 - 2 years experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing industry or relate, and 1 year experience as Packaging Operator or Technician.

Read and interpret literature and documents written in Spanish and English.

Excellent math, troubleshooting skills and knowledge of the machines and / or equipment in their functional area, including design and maintenance.

Good Skills in the use of computerized systems : SAP, ePES, electronic document management, "Learning Management System".

Good knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, Documentation Rules, Occupational and Environmental Safety.

The  Packaging Technician  will be responsible to operate packaging equipment and perform preventive maintenance. Performs a series of tasks related to mechanical changeovers and preventive maintenance of equipment in the area. Performs basic mechanical and troubleshooting functions. Assists maintenance technicians in complex equipment troubleshooting tasks. Recommends actions to optimize packaging systems.
