JOB SCOPE The Electrical Drafter is an energetic, self-motivated individual with experience in the design of power distribution, lighting, life safety, and low voltage electrical systems in the biotech, pharmaceutical, chemical / specialty chemical, and / or food & nutrition industries.
Possess the ability to work with Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and have experience with creation / modification of plan drawings, detail sheets, and schedules to existing stringent CAD standards throughout all phases of design from schematic through construction documentation.
These plan drawings include power, lighting, and special systems plans and related schedules, including all branch circuiting and equipment layouts with proper space requirements.
Have strong communication and advanced Revit / AutoCAD skills, as well as experience coordinating with other disciplines, including the use of Revit, AutoCAD, and / or other programs to resolve design conflicts.
Expectations to work closely with Architects, Engineers, and Designers as well as other internal and external team members to ensure a coordinated, constructible, and complete design and will be expected to complete drawing responsibility tasks within a specified scope, budget, and schedule.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Visiting project sites to analyze existing conditions, and / or oversee construction.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Associate Degree in Architectural and Engineering Drawing or a related field and 2 years of experience required or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent drawing and organization skills and must have the ability to communicate complex ideas visually.
