Credit Collections Manager

Our client, a leader in the health industry is hiring a Credit Collections Manager to

oversee billing and collection operations in the healthcare sector. This role

ensures efficient extension of auditing, billing (including Medicare), and

regulatory compliance processes. This position reports directly to the CFO.

Salary : Base salary commensurate to candidates experience plus fringe

benefits

Responsibilities :

• Lead and supervise the Credit Collections department (audit,

billing, Medicare collections)

• Implement and train staff on efficient billing and collections

procedures

• Coordinate with health plans to accelerate payment processing
• Monitor billing performance and collection metrics
• Review and analyze billing reports and system output
• Ensure timely billing for inpatient and outpatient services (within 35 days post-discharge)
• Update clinical and billing teams on insurer requirements, system changes, and policies
• Ensure departmental adherence to regulatory and accrediting standards
• Oversee staffing issues including attendance, performance, and professional development
• Prepare and deliver reports and recommendations to supervisors and leadership

Requirements :

• Associates or Bachelors
• Minimum 3 years of experience in medical billing, collections, Medicare, and supervising staff
• 5+ years working in healthcare-related financial operations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Current criminal background check
• Fully bilingual
