Responsibilities : Sets up and operates manufacturing machines such as : Printing Machine, AMPLAS, etc.
Performs all duties with strict observance to cGMP's, cSOP's, cGDP's and other internal and external regulations.
Reads blueprint or spec's for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions such as fixtures, feed rates, cutting speeds, depth of cut, and determines sequence of operations.
Selects, positions, and secures tool in toolholder ( chuck, collet, or tool post ).
Positions and secures workpiece in holding device, machine table, chuck, centers, or fixtures.
Moves controls to position tool and workpiece in relation to each other, and to set specified feeds, speeds, and depth of cut.
Sets up fixture or feeding device, starts machine, and turns handwheel to feed tool to workpiece or vice versa, and engages feed.
Turns valve handle to direct flow of coolant or cutting oil against tool and workpiece.
Observes operation of machine and verifies conformance of machined workpiece to specifications.
Observes and records scrap, downtime, efficiency.
Operates machines and feeds them with the appropriate raw material, such as f oil changes, minor cleaning adjustments, change of dies.
Assists Manufacturing Mechanics or Maintenance Technicians at preventive maintenance routine.
Qualifications : Associate degree in any field related One (1) year minimum of previous experience in related area or equivalent.
Knowledge in pneumatics and general mechanics.
Able to read and interpret alarms, gages, PLC's, basic concepts of electricity.
Provide technical support to all assigned areas.
Able to handle multiple tasks at the same time.
Team worked oriented.
Occasionally required to work extra hours, Holidays ( e.g.
shutdowns, special projects ).
