Location : Jayuya, Puerto Rico, % on-site

Company Description :

Our client specializes in the manufacturing of medical serums and bags and is currently performing several process manufacturing improvements through the area.

Position Description :

The Project Leader will be required to support and assure completion of selected manufacturing projects, which may include process / equipment optimization and validation / qualification, business continuity, supplier changes, cost reduction, and sustainability initiatives, among others

Responsibilities :

• Identifies, leads, supports and manages manufacturing improvement projects until completion, which can include and is not limited to creating multifunctional teams and require vendor or supplier process improvement.
• Coordinates and executes process / equipment optimization and validation / qualification when required for the new improvement implementation.
• Supports in designing new plant equipment or modifying existing facilities considering costs, available space, time limitations, company planning, and other technical and economic factors.
• Assists management improving a work environment according to Plant Mission, Vision and Shared Values.
• Willing to work with multiple projects and handle multiple tasks at the same time and extra hours, any shift or Holidays (eg. shutdowns, extraordinary events).
• Assists in project planning, team facilitation and project status updates.
• Promotes a safe work environment. May provide recommendations on maintaining the safety of the work environment.
• Provides recommendations to support systems that continuously improve product / process quality and product availability, reduce costs, and increase production capability.
• Keeps abreast of the basic requirements for compliance in all plant areas of work and complies with those requirements.
• Participate as required in training on regulatory issues affecting the facilities areas or any plant area. Brings regulatory compliance questions / issues to the attention of management.
