Job Description :
The Grants Reconciliation & Closeout Coordinator, will be responsible for leading the administrative and financial tasks related to the final phase of grants managed by the organization. This role is essential to ensure that all funded projects are properly closed out in compliance with current regulations, contractual requirements and institutional standards.
The ideal person should have a combination of technical expertise in financial reconciliation, document management, and the ability to coordinate with internal and external teams.
Main responsibilities :
- A Grants Reconciliation & Closeout Coordinator must coordinate the closing process of assigned grants, including validation of reports, compliance and reconciliations.
- Oversee and ensure the accuracy of financial and administrative documentation related to each grant.
- A Grants Reconciliation & Closeout Coordinator must prepare closeout reports, ensuring that they accurately reflect the use of allocated funds.
- Track budget items, reported expenditures and pending documentation for closeout.
- Serve as liaison between internal teams, sub-recipients and stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and complete closeout requirements.
- A Grants Reconciliation & Closeout Coordinator must maintain files organized and ready for audit or regulatory review.
- Support in the preparation of audits related to closed or closing projects.
Requirements :
A Grants Reconciliation & Closeout Coordinator must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management or related field.Proficient with tools such as Microsoft Excel and document management platforms.A Grants Reconciliation & Closeout Coordinator must have minimum two (2) years of experience in grants management, financial reconciliation or similar administrative processes.Ability to work with accuracy, attention to detail and meet deadlines.A Grants Reconciliation & Closeout Coordinator must have excellent oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English.Experience in recovery programs, financial compliance or multi-stakeholder initiatives is a plus.
